Simon Ross

Simon brings his love for the great outdoors and woodworking together with a focus on paddle-making for various sports. His background growing up in Western MA included not only exposure to the northern seas but a family tradition of canoeing and paddling in the lakes and rivers of upstate NY. He is son of a carpenter who, with his brother, started a business in the early 80’s refurbishing and dealing in antique Canoes, Adirondack Guide-boats and other nautical hardwares and oddities. Both Simon’s father and uncle raised their families in the business and taught them to love the craft as well as the sport.

Moving to Key West in 2018 introduced Simon to tropical waters and paddle boarding. A few years later, Ross and Company was born.
